This post is long overdue. I’ve been waiting for my Tracer Golf Glove to wear out before writing a review. Imagine that.
I first posted on my Instagram page, Duranko Golf in January about a Tracer Golf Glove I’d worn 20 times, probably more with practice sessions. That was on January 11, 2025, and the images are below on the left. The image below on the right is the same glove at the end of May 2025. More than 60 rounds later.
That is 60 rounds in the heat and humidity of Florida. Incredible! I could probably get a few more rounds out of it, but there are some wear points and it just feels like it’s time to put on a new one. So, I’m finally retiring this Tracer Golf Glove.
The good news, or the obvious news, is that I’ll be wearing another Tracer CoolFit Golf Glove starting with my next round. And here it is.
Tracer Golf Accessories
Tracer is a company Duranko Golf started representing at the end of 2024. They offer a variety of custom ball markers, divot tools, and other products. Check out the catalog here. I’ve also used them for golf scorecards with great success.
I have been a big fan of Zero Friction golf gloves and posted a review way back in 2020. I love the one-size-fits-all and the snug fit. The Zero Friction gloves also last a long time, but I’m here to tell you Tracer is my new favorite.
Tracer Golf Glove Features
The glove is made of a stretchy synthetic material with a leather palm patch, where the brunt of the wear is and where the glove ultimately failed. The mesh is breathable and precision-cut in the glove parts that are not part of the grip or where there is a natural seam of your hand.
The back of the glove is smooth. On the inside, where the glove meets the club, the material is textured and grippy. I wasn’t sure how this would hold up, but it did. Then, there is a sheer fabric between the fingers that also offers stretch but not weight. Here is a close-up, front and back.
Tracer CoolFit gloves come in 3 sizes for men, one size for ladies, and one size for youth. They also offer a fingerless version for Ladies, though the gloves are unisex. The Men’s sizes are Small/Medium, Medium/Large, and XL/XXL. This format allows the right fit for all types and sizes of human hands.
Tracer Golf Glove Colors
The color combinations are surprisingly varied.
- Men (5) – White/Black, White/Blue, Black/Red, Grey/Black, Blue/Black
- Ladies (4) – White/Lime, White/Black, White/ Blue, White/Pink
- Youth (4) – Black, White/Blue, Grey/Black, Black/Red, White/Pink,
- Fingerless (4) – Grey/Pink, Grey/Lime, White/Pink, White/RedTrace
I love the Zero Friction golf gloves, but I have heard that the smaller and larger hands do not offer consistent snugness after they are broken in. Zero friction offers a one-size-fits-all glove, and on the high end or the large side, that will be too tight of a fit. And I have actually heard from a golf pro who loved the fit, but has a smaller hand, and felt like the glove lost its snugness over time.
The one area where the Zero Friction golf glove comes out ahead of Tracer is the small tee-holder they put on the back flap of the glove, which perfectly holds one of their small Zero Friction tees. I love those little tees, especially for par threes and hitting my hybrid from the tee. But they never seem to be in stock?
PGA Professionals
One last thing about Tracer is that they are PGA member-owned and operated. So, as golf professionals, they know that the minimums can’t be too high. They don’t like account set-ups, and they just make everything very easy for all of my customers.
I’m thrilled to be representing Tracer, and I’m blown away by the quality, durability, and the comfort of these golf gloves.
If you’re interested in seeing them, they are available in Sarasota at the Palms at Forest Lake on Beneva Road, at the Suncoast Golf Center on the other side of the Sarasota airport, and soon to be more shops. If you are looking for a fair-priced, comfortable, durable, and, I think, uniquely stylish. Give me a call.
